We allow you to track various relationships between your constituents. These can be people who live or work at the same address, which we call "relations", or other relationships which we call "contacts". Both can be seen on the main constituent data entry window.
From the relations and contacts tree list, you can drill down into each person's "branch" to see who they are related to down to any level. You can use this to see the "six degrees of separation" between people.
Relations can be used to ensure that only one piece of mail is sent to each household, for automatically soft crediting a spouse for the other spouse's gifts, and for tracking parent/child relationships for creating directories.

You can also track various other types of relationships between constituents, including business relationships, friends, neighbors, other family members or any other type of relationship. Links between donors can be one-way or two-way contacts.
These are also displayed on the constituent data entry window.
