Using DonorWorks with OS X 10.9 Mavericks

The latest release of DonorWorks 9.0 is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks.

In order to run DonorWorks under Apple's latest operating system, Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, DonorWorks 9.0b2 or later is required. You can download the latest release of DonorWorks here. Any release of DonorWorks prior to 9.0b2 will crash when opening under Mavericks.

If you upgrade your computer to Mavericks

If you upgraded your computer to Mavericks, you will need to download and run the full DonorWorks installer. If you installed the DonorWorks 9.0b2 update via web update or network update and then upgraded to Mavericks, you will need to download and re-install DonorWorks using the full installer available through the link above.

If you had DonorWorks Server installed before upgrading to Mavericks, it will not be running after the upgrade. Follow these steps on your server computer to regain access to your data:

  1. Open DonorWorks 9.0b2
  2. Go to File -> Database Browser
  3. Select On this computer
  4. Click Remove Database Server
  5. Authenticate as prompted
  6. Click Install Server
  7. Authenticate as prompted
